Project Status: Towers completed and operational 13th FEBRUARY,2017.
On site Project Manager/Client Relationship – RCS Telecommunication Pty Ltd (RCST) 2×45 meters Communication Towers for Newcrest Mining Limited (NML) – Lihir Island, Papua New Guinea.
Scope – Supervision of Construction and Rigging RCST Contractors crew (Cetelnet) to erect 2xNew 45m Communication Towers, at the Plant site, the first over looking Mine Open and 2nd at the Port serving the main Plant area. Apart from the 2 new 45m tower, new antenna were installed on existing Londo Tower and PutPut Tower
This new is part of larger project to facilitate and support the change over of aging NML company’s aging Mobile Trunking hand held radio system to new Digital State of the art system to support NML’s expanding operations.
Towers completed on schedule, and in compliance to NML Safety’s compliance, achieving ‘Incident Free and No Near Misses’.
