Friday 24th June – Site preparation
Saturday 25th June – Material on Site
Monday 27th Tuesday 28th June. Install readiness. RIG fabrication on site.
The RIG will be used with Ropes and Pulley to erect Mono Pole Structure, instead of using a Mobile 10-20 tonne Issue using Mobile Crane Truck 3.7m and cost.
Work around: Premises gate 3m and tight work space to maneuver within. 4x3m section. Lengths limited to 3m meet PNG In country Air Craft Air Cargo dimensions requirement fast deployment to other sites in future. Of course can send by Sea and saves cost of buying these in future. Material used: 25mm galvanised circular pipes and 12mm deformed bars (circular). Equipment required: Welding machine: 200A recommended. Drop Saw recommend, but can use hack saw.
Wednesday 29th June – Geo Tech Study conducted on site, to determine foundation compacting requirement to support new tower.
Wednesday 29th June – Foundation excavation started.
Monday 4th July – Earthing install complete. Tuesday 5th July – Base complete. Back filled
Wednesday 6th July – RIG setup. Mono Pole moved to site. Ladders assembled.
Thursday 7th July – 1st and 2nd sections erection in progress.
Tuesday 12thJuly – 2nd and 3rd sections installed
Tuesday 19th July – Practical Acceptance. Site ‘On Air’. Commissioned 2G/3G traffic on UMTS 900Mhz, and 3G on 2100Mhz traffic (Dual band site). Temporary Mains AC Power.
Wednesday 3rd August, 2016 – Final Acceptance – DC System installed. IP65 outdoor cabinet housing Base Station equipment, AC/DC rectifier and 2x150AH 48VDC Battery Bank (Extended Energy storage system). Permanent Power connected.
